More than 80-thousand cribs sold at Pottery Barns Kids stores across the US are under recall.  The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) says the defective drop side cribs could cause children to become entrapped or they may fall out, resulting in injury or death

According to the CPSC, the problem occurs when the cribs are incorrectly assembled or if certain hardware on them breaks.  There have been 36 reports of drop side malfunctions, leading to seven injuries.  No fatalities have been reported.

The faulty cribs sold between $300 and $600 dollars.  Pottery Barn Kids is offering free hardware kit to immobilize the drop side of the cribs.
